The role
The Fund Associate works directly with the CEO and leadership across investments, fund operations, and investor relations, with a growth trajectory to Fund Principal (Years 2-3) and Partner (Year 4).
Responsibilities
- Manage LP communications, fund updates, and portfolio reporting
- Prepare diligence materials and investment documentation
- Own investment closings and DocuSign workflows
- Coordinate with accounting, legal, and tax partners
- Lead LP onboarding and maintain investor records
- Oversee distribution workflows for liquidity events
- Support fundraising efforts and coordinate across global teams
- Assist with events and roadshows
- Improve internal systems and AI-driven processes
Requirements
- Experience in venture capital, private equity, fund management, or startup finance
- Strong written and verbal communication
- Proficiency with Google Workspace, CRM systems, spreadsheets, and AI tools
- Reliability and responsiveness
- Willingness to travel monthly and work extended hours
- Understanding of confidentiality
- Minimum two-year commitment
Compensation
Base salary plus performance compensation, and carry participation with meaningful upside that grows with your title and performance. Austin and/or Dallas, Texas - in office or hybrid.
