Role overview
This role involves sourcing, evaluating, and executing investments across the complete venture capital lifecycle. The ideal candidate combines deep research, financial analysis, technical curiosity, and founder engagement.
Key responsibilities
- Identify and build relationships with startups in AI, semiconductors, infrastructure, and developer tools sectors
- Engage directly with founders regarding products, markets, and competitive positioning
- Conduct investment diligence across multiple dimensions
- Build financial models and analyze unit economics
- Prepare investment memos outlining opportunities and recommendations
- Support deal execution and portfolio company growth initiatives
- Develop investment theses using proprietary research
- Represent the firm at industry events and conferences
Requirements
- 2–4 years in venture capital, private equity, consulting, or comparable analytical roles
- Strong financial modeling and research capabilities
- Excellent communication skills
- Relationship-building abilities with founders and investors
- Intellectual curiosity regarding emerging technologies
- Full-time availability in San Francisco
Preferred qualifications
- Prior investment firm experience
- Technical background or demonstrated technical market understanding
- Familiarity with fundraising and venture financing structures
