About the Role
Pear VC is adding an Investor to the AI and Enterprise team. This is a rare opportunity to work directly with the Pear Partners on every aspect of the investing business.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop subject matter expertise across industries including DevTools, Security, Databases, AI applications, and AI infrastructure
- Actively source new investment opportunities through networking, events, and direct outreach
- Build and foster relationships with founders and peer VC investors
- Lead due diligence on active investment opportunities including market research, founder references, expert interviews, and analysis via online platforms
- Assess investment opportunities and collaborate closely with exceptional founders on radically ambitious visions
- Support portfolio company founders across business-building challenges
Requirements
- Subject matter expertise in at least one of: AI/ML, dev tools, databases, security, or enterprise technology
- Self-starter with superior work ethic
- Attention to detail and strong project management skills
- Ability to excel in an entrepreneurial environment with ambiguity
- Stellar written and verbal communication skills
