Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain founder relationships, particularly in emerging talent pools outside current sourcing channels
- Conduct preliminary evaluations and present opportunities with informed perspectives
- Build public thought leadership through writing and speaking engagements
- Establish Gradient's presence at key industry events and campus communities
Requirements
- Computer science, STEM degree, or startup founding experience (mandatory)
- Background in angel investing, community building, or talent scouting
- Technical fluency enabling substantive discussions about AI models and infrastructure
- Established network within underrepresented founder communities
- Commitment to relationship-building and in-person networking
- Based in San Francisco or willing to relocate; able to be in office 3 days/week
