Role
We're hiring a Principal in San Francisco. This is a senior investment role with a path toward partnership for someone with deep connections across the SF technology and startup ecosystem and strong technical aptitude.
Responsibilities
- Source and secure preseed/seed investment opportunities
- Cultivate trusted relationships with founders, engineers, operators, and investors
- Create investment theses focused on emerging technical markets
- Assess companies and oversee diligence, technical research, and financial analysis
- Manage the complete investment lifecycle from initial contact through closing
- Provide strategic support to portfolio companies on fundraising, strategy, and talent
- Build community and brand visibility through events, content, and programming
Requirements
- 2-4+ years of relevant venture capital experience
- An active network among SF founders, operators, engineers, and investors
- A demonstrated track record in investments, diligence, and early-stage company work
- A strong technical background or demonstrated technical aptitude
- Self-directed, high-ownership orientation with independent operational capability
- Genuine enthusiasm for technology, engineering, and early-stage investing
- Legal authorization to work in the United States
