Amboy Street Ventures seeks a Principal trained at top-tier healthcare VC to join as core team member building an early-stage platform exclusively focused on women's health. The role focuses on therapeutics, diagnostics, and medical devices.
Core Responsibilities
- Sourcing and evaluating early-stage healthcare investments
- Conducting full-cycle venture diligence across scientific, clinical, regulatory, and commercial dimensions
- Authoring investment memos and defending recommendations
- Serving as strategic partner to founders on clinical and regulatory matters
- Participating in board / board-observer roles
- Contributing to firm strategy and portfolio construction
Requirements
- Healthcare VC experience at top-tier funds with proven ability to evaluate scientific and commercial risk
- Strong judgment, exceptional communication
- Genuine interest in building long-term career at the firm
Preferred
- Advanced degree
- Operating / clinical / scientific background
- Drug development experience
- Prior investment leadership
