xdeck, founded in 2019 and headquartered in Cologne, Germany, operates as both a startup accelerator and venture capital fund. It describes itself as Germany's first such combined entity to be initiated by founders for founders. The firm focuses on early-stage B2B technology startups from across Europe, offering an acceleration program that is both equity-free and cost-free to participating companies.
The acceleration programme follows a four-phase methodology: diagnosis, objectives, acceleration, and alumni integration. Founders receive tailored support through one-to-one sessions, bi-weekly sparring meetings, and founder-led "xdays" centred on sales, product development, and fundraising. Participants are paired with experienced entrepreneurs and connected to a network of more than 15 corporate partners.
As of available data, xdeck has accelerated over 107 startups, with 91% of its alumni still active. Collectively, programme alumni have raised more than €300m in funding. The organisation is based in THE SHIP, a building in Cologne characterised as an innovation-focused office space.
