The Blox

The Blox is an operator-investor focused on pre-seed and seed-stage blockchain startups. Its model combines practical guidance with capital: it works alongside founders to structure companies, build products, establish business models and prepare for fundraising, while drawing on an alumni network and membership of the Global Accelerator Network for mentor access, founder connections and investor introductions.

Its principal programme, The Blox Accelerator Program, has now concluded. Across three cohorts the accelerator served 46 founders, with a curriculum spanning MVP development, product-market fit, business models, marketing, fundraising and tokenomics. Startups from the portfolio have gone on to raise $40.1 million in capital. Investment activity continues on a more limited basis through Stakk Ventures, a vehicle via which The Blox may still occasionally back founders.

Technical domains covered include MVP development, product development, tokenomics and business model development. In assessing founders, the firm places weight on capable, committed teams, technical expertise and business judgment, together with leadership, flexibility and a willingness to respond to feedback and iterate quickly - an emphasis on pragmatic execution over idea alone.
