Role Description
This full-time, on-site position leads all fundraising activities. The Head of Capital Formation develops capital-raising strategies targeting institutional investors, family offices, and capital partners. Responsibilities include sourcing prospective LPs, building long-term relationships, managing fundraising processes, and driving fund closes. Day-to-day activities encompass preparing marketing materials, coordinating roadshows, managing CRM systems, and maintaining fundraising pipelines. The role collaborates with investment teams on messaging and LP communication, oversees LP reporting, contributes to fund structuring, and refines go-to-market strategy.
Qualifications
- Proven capital formation or investor relations leadership experience in private equity, growth equity, venture capital, or alternative investments
- Established relationships with institutional investors including endowments, foundations, pension funds, and family offices
- Strong fundraising strategy and pipeline management expertise
- Excellent communication and pitch material development skills
- Understanding of enterprise software, enterprise AI, and growth-stage dynamics
- Advanced financial acumen regarding fund economics and portfolio reporting
- High professionalism, discretion, and integrity
- Collaborative approach suitable for lean, entrepreneurial environments
