Role Description The Senior Vice President at GHARAGE Ventures is a full-time, remote leadership role responsible for driving strategic growth, overseeing investment initiatives, and guiding portfolio performance. Day-to-day responsibilities include evaluating new venture and investment opportunities, managing key stakeholder relationships, and providing executive oversight of operational and financial performance. The Senior Vice President collaborates with founders and leadership teams to support business scaling, implements governance frameworks, and monitors risk management practices. The role also involves representing GHARAGE Ventures in external forums, mentoring emerging leaders, and fostering an inclusive, high-performing culture.
Qualifications

• Demonstrated ability to lead executive-level strategy, portfolio management, and organizational growth initiatives.
• Track record in venture capital, private equity, or high-growth startups, including experience evaluating and structuring investments.
• Strong financial acumen, including budgeting, forecasting, and interpreting financial and performance metrics.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills, with experience influencing at board and C-suite levels.
• Proven experience in remote leadership, managing distributed teams, and driving results in a digital-first environment.
• Ability to design and improve processes, governance frameworks, and performance management systems.
• Commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion, and to building collaborative, respectful working relationships.
• Master's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field preferred; equivalent senior leadership experience considered.
• Willingness to travel occasionally for key meetings, events, and portfolio support activities, as business needs require.
