Work with founders. Drive growth. Build companies that improve lives.

About Evio

Evio Venture Capital invests in and partners with founders building companies in mental health, wellness, and human potential. Beyond capital, we work hands-on with our portfolio to help founders accelerate growth, strengthen operations, and build businesses that last.

We’re looking for an entrepreneurial Venture Portfolio Growth Lead to work directly with our founders. You’ll help early-stage startups find their best growth opportunities, improve commercial performance, and turn strategy into measurable results.

This isn’t a traditional marketing role. You’ll work across growth strategy, business development, and startup operations, combining strategic thinking with hands-on execution. You’ll work closely with 3–5 portfolio startups and support others across the wider Evio ecosystem.

You won’t be starting from scratch. You’ll build on proven playbooks, frameworks, and lessons from across our portfolio, then adapt and improve them for each company.

What You’ll Do

  • Shape growth strategy. Develop and refine go-to-market strategies with founders, identify the highest-impact opportunities, and help teams focus on what matters most.
  • Turn data into decisions. Track growth KPIs, diagnose bottlenecks across the funnel, and translate findings into clear, actionable recommendations.
  • Open new channels. Identify and build commercial channels, partnerships, and distribution opportunities, along with the sales materials and processes needed to make them work.
  • Execute hands-on. Write messaging and copy, run campaigns, launch growth experiments, and use AI and automation to move faster than a traditional team could.
  • Partner with founders. Act as a strategic and operational partner: help solve problems, coordinate resources, and push critical initiatives over the line.

What Success Looks Like

In your first few months, you’ll get to know each portfolio company’s business, run a growth audit to identify its biggest opportunities and constraints, and agree on clear priorities with each founder. Over time, you’ll own key growth initiatives end to end, refine and extend our playbooks so every company in the portfolio benefits, and become a trusted partner whose input founders actively seek out.

Who We’re Looking For

You’re a resourceful, analytical, and entrepreneurial problem-solver who can think strategically and is just as happy doing the work yourself.

  • At least 3 years of experience in growth, marketing, strategy, or startup operations; 5+ years is ideal.
  • A strong grasp of growth fundamentals: acquisition, conversion, retention, go-to-market, and unit economics.
  • A track record of building growth strategies and turning them into concrete initiatives.
  • Strong analytical skills and comfort working with business performance data.
  • Hands-on experience with digital marketing, messaging, and modern growth tools.
  • Practical fluency with AI tools for research, analysis, execution, and automation.
  • Excellent written and spoken English, clear communication, and the ability to work independently.

Experience in startups, entrepreneurship, agencies, or consulting is a strong plus. We value broad, cross-functional experience over deep specialization.

Above all, you’re curious, comfortable with ambiguity, and quick to spot opportunities without being asked. You care about the impact of your work and want to help build companies that make a real difference in people’s mental health and wellbeing.
