Role Description
The Venture Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Greater Kuala Lumpur, responsible for overseeing and supporting a portfolio of ventures from early evaluation through scaling. Day-to-day responsibilities include sourcing and assessing investment opportunities, conducting market and financial analysis, and preparing business cases and investment proposals. The role involves working closely with founders and internal stakeholders to refine business models, support fundraising efforts, track portfolio performance, and identify value-creation initiatives. The Venture Manager will also coordinate due diligence processes, manage key project timelines, and contribute to strategic planning and governance activities across the venture portfolio.
Qualifications
- Strong analytical skills, including the ability to interpret complex data, assess business performance, and generate actionable insights.
- Experience in building a tech business is a must
- Proactive, detail-oriented working style, with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Prior experience in venture capital, private equity, corporate venture building, or strategy consulting is highly beneficial.
