Investment Associate

We are looking for an Investment Associate to join our team and take an active role across the full investment lifecycle, from identifying promising founders and evaluating investment opportunities to executing transactions and supporting portfolio companies.

Responsibilities

• Identify and evaluate new investment opportunities aligned with DOMiNO Ventures’ investment strategy.
• Conduct startup scouting, market research, sector analysis and competitive landscape assessments across domestic and international markets.
• Source high-potential startups and build trusted relationships with founders, investors and key ecosystem participants across DOMiNO Ventures’ target markets.
• Develop informed perspectives on emerging technologies and markets through thematic research, sector mapping and conversations with founders, customers and industry experts.
• Lead and support commercial, financial and operational due diligence, identifying the key opportunities, risks and assumptions behind each potential investment.
• Prepare clear and well-structured investment memorandums, present opportunities to the investment team and contribute actively to investment discussions and decisions.
• Work alongside the investment team throughout transaction structuring, documentation, negotiation and closing processes.
• Monitor portfolio company performance and work closely with founders on strategic priorities, follow-on fundraising and access to DOMiNO Ventures’ customer, investor, talent and partner network.
• Represent DOMiNO Ventures at relevant startup, technology and investment events while contributing to the firm’s broader investment strategy and ecosystem presence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering, economics, business administration, finance or another relevant field.
• 1–3 years of professional experience in venture capital, private equity, investment banking, M&A, management consulting, corporate finance, a technology startup or another relevant field..
• Fluency in written and spoken English is a must.
• Strong interest in technology, entrepreneurship, venture capital and emerging business models.
• Ability to analyze both quantitative and qualitative information and translate findings into clear investment views.
• Strong business judgment, strategic thinking and attention to detail.
• Ability to communicate complex subjects clearly and concisely, both verbally and in writing.
• Confidence in engaging with founders, investors and senior stakeholders across different markets and cultures.
• Comfortable working independently, managing multiple priorities and operating in a fast-paced international environment.
• Proactive, collaborative and result-oriented, with a genuine willingness to learn.
