Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role based in Tokyo, Japan, for a Global Venture Capitalist and Portfolio Manager. The successful candidate will manage and grow investment portfolios, assess potential opportunities, conduct financial and market analysis, and make strategic recommendations. Responsibilities include managing relationships with portfolio companies, evaluating the performance of investment assets, and collaborating with cross-regional teams to identify and execute growth opportunities within target markets and sectors.
Qualifications
- Strong Analytical Skills to evaluate market trends and investment opportunities
- Expertise in Finance and Investments, with an ability to manage risk and deliver returns
- Hands-on experience in Portfolio Management and Trading
- Proven ability to manage diverse investment portfolios and work across global financial markets
- Excellent communication, strategic decision-making, and cross-cultural collaboration skills
- Advanced proficiency in financial modeling, valuation techniques, and data interpretation
- Master's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field preferred
- Native-Level Japanese Speaking/Writing is Mandatory, fluency in English highly desirable
- Experience in venture capital or private equity markets is a plus
