CULT Capital is a New York growth equity firm founded in 2014 that backs emerging consumer brands with loyal followings, investing up to $10m in companies with $2m+ annual revenue.

CULT Capital is a growth equity firm based in New York, founded in 2014 by John M. Kenney and Sarah A. Woelfel. It invests in emerging consumer brands, with a stated focus on companies whose products generate what the firm calls a "cult brand": a product consumers cannot live without, one that builds identity and belonging through meaningful community engagement.

The firm's investment parameters are specific. Target portfolio companies generate at least $2 million in annual revenue and seek up to $10 million in capital. Beyond funding, CULT Capital partners with and helps scale its portfolio brands, positioning itself as an operating ally rather than a passive investor.

Current and realised holdings total ten companies, spanning body care, cosmetics, haircare, skincare, fragrance, homecare, personal care, wellness, food and beverage: Hanni, Elavi, Act+Acre, Homecourt, Luna Daily, Lawless Beauty, Jaanuu, Miyoko's, Supergoop! and Babo Botanicals. The portfolio skews heavily towards beauty and personal care, with food and beverage representing a smaller share.
