About

CLP is backed by a knowledgeable group of investors, including partners at Bessemer Venture Partners.

Our experience through the ups and downs of the past decade has taught us that no company has a straight path to success. Because of this, our approach is to take a "light touch" with no board seats, light covenants and standard reporting.

That’s where a trusted partner comes in. For over 25 years we’ve partnered with the world’s leading software ScaleUps, providing the capital, operating guidance, and expansive network companies need to propel growth for the long term – and soar. Software From The Start In 1995, we bet on our hunch that software would change the game. We’ve since partnered with hundreds of executives who’ve transformed and shaped industries, changing the way people live and do business. Insight’s approach is straightforward and results-driven. We deploy our three core pillars - scale, focus, and experience - to help companies capture value and generate long-term business success. Focus Insight accelerates revenue and profit in software companies. Our obsession with software has produced a habit of success. We recognize industry patterns, emerging tech markets and software trends. We’ve accumulated the knowledge to understand the strategies needed to win. Scale We have scale. Telescope Partners

At Telescope, every investment matters. We believe that building companies that change markets takes time, focus, and unwavering partnership. Our job is to offer relevant advice and bespoke support to each of the founders we partner with, helping them navigate the journey with insight, experience, and empathy. Being CEO doesn’t mean you have to do it alone. An investment from Telescope is a commitment of our time. Our objective is to understand who you are, what gets you excited about the opportunity, what’s happening in your market, and what makes you unique. You are the expert at your business, we are here to help you navigate the challenges inherent in building it. The difference between good and great is massive. We believe that excellent entrepreneurs are driven by the idea that good enough is never good enough. The transition from a good company to a great one often comes down to discrete moments that have a ripple effect on your business tomorrow. Perspective is everything. Every decision you make has an opportunity cost; learning what NOT to do is often as important as learning what works. With a broad view of your market and a focused view of your company, Telescope enables you to make the hard decisions with better data - leading to optimal growth and ultimate outcomes. Pace. The pace at every company is different, with ebbs and flows at every stage of building it. Answering the tough questions can save headaches down the line. What is too fast or too slow given my market and company today? Where is the friction today? Where will the friction evolve? Who am I competing with? Who will I compete with? People. Winning organizations have high-performance cultures that engage and inspire their employees. Finding and keeping the right team is imperative to future success. How do I find & hire “great” talent? What does great look like? Who will fail first? Process. With possibilities come distractions. Honing in on your business model, your go-to-market strategy, and even the right employees are crucial in optimizing the long-term outcome for your company. How do I stop firefighting? What metrics should I be focused on? How do I set goals? What should they be?

Stellaris Venture Partners

Our approach keeps founders at the heart of everything we do. We areConviction-led: We value independent decision-making and lead all our investments. Long-term partners: We stay fully committed to founders' vision, no matter how long it takes. Sector specialists: We each focus on specific sectors to build a deep, informed point of view that fuels our investment strategy and portfolio support. Transparent: We keep founders in the loop and prioritize honest communication, making us partners they never have to second-guess. Engaged: We believe in staying actively involved through meaningful board participation and functional support. Our journey started like many other startups – in a Bengaluru basement 2016 When we set out to raise our first fund, the Indian VC landscape was shaky at best. Investors were cautious, several foreign VC majors had left the ecosystem, and successful exits were hard to come by. Amidst skepticism about the Indian market, we defiantly believed that the "golden decade" of Indian technology was upon us. We saw an opportunity for VC 2.0 in India – one that was stage-focused, expertise-driven, and committed to prioritizing real growth alongside valuations. Undeterred by a tough fundraising climate, we knocked on 1,200 doors to raise Stellaris’ first fund. These early struggles shaped Stellaris’ culture, allowing us to fully resonate with the fundraising challenges faced by early-stage entrepreneurs. 2017 We launched our first fund of $90 million. From the outset, we established a principle of having specialists on our team, enabling us to tap into deep sector knowledge, spot promising opportunities, and provide tailored support to the companies we backed. Out of our 19 investments in our first fund, 9 surpassed a valuation of $100 million, with several others on track to achieve this milestone. 2021 We closed our second fund of $225M and backed 25 companies, many of which are poised to become the leaders of tomorrow. We also had our first significant exit in the portfolio when 6Sense, a US SaaS company, acquired Slintel, in which Stellaris was the first institutional investor. 2023 Our portfolio company, Mamaearth, which we backed at the Series A stage in 2018, successfully completed its IPO. 2024 We launched our third fund of $300M and are now managing over $600M in assets. We're ready to support the next wave of innovative businesses with the same grit and determination that brought us here.
