Part-time Office and HR Manager
Location: Covent Garden, London with 4 - 5 days in the office
Schedule: 20 hours per week
Salary: £50,000 - 60,000 FTE, pro rata
We are looking for an experienced Office and HR Manager to own the day-to-day office experience at CLP. This is a standalone, hands-on role in a small, high-performing investment firm. You will own our London office experience, creating an environment where people enjoy coming to work and can perform at their best. This is a permanent role for an experienced professional looking for a stable, long-term part-time position with meaningful ownership.
The role
The scope is split approximately 70% Office and 30% People.
Office experience
- Own the day-to-day experience and smooth running of our London office
- Manage relationship with landlord and suppliers
- Support workplace improvements and ensure the office is welcoming, organised and well stocked
- Plan marketing events and coordinate team events, celebrations and other moments that strengthen connection across the fund
- Provide business administration related to the office
People experience
- Own day-to-day HR admin including HR systems and employee contracts
- Coordinate recruitment and onboarding
- Support the administration of employee benefits
- Provide support on employee relations and queries, escalating more complex issues to leadership
Leadership coaching and broader organisational development are supported externally.
Who we are looking for
You enjoy working independently and being close to the everyday life of a business. You will ideally bring:
- 7+ years' experience, including working as a standalone or highly autonomous professional
- Confidence working with senior stakeholders and providing pragmatic, commercially minded advice
- Experience in financial services, investment management, PE/VC, professional services or a high-performance tech business
You are pragmatic, calm, dependable, organised and low-ego: warm and approachable, with sound judgement and the confidence to challenge constructively.
You are equally comfortable handling an employee issue or solving something practical in the office.
Working pattern
This is a 20-hour-per-week role, spread across 4 or 5 days in the office so that you are visible, accessible and part of the everyday life of the team. The exact working pattern will be agreed with the successful candidate.

£50 - 60,000 FTE, pro rata, depending on experience and working pattern, plus:
