About the role
As Investment Manager, you will identify, evaluate, and manage early-stage Web3 and DeFi investment opportunities, with a focus on tokenomics, governance, and ecosystem sustainability.
Responsibilities
- Lead research on emerging Web3 trends — Layer 1/2, DeFi, AI x Crypto, prediction markets, wallets, tokenized assets
- Source Web3 projects and DeFi protocols; conduct thorough due diligence on tokenomics, governance, and ecosystem sustainability
- Build investment cases, structure deals, and support Investment Committee decisions
- Guide portfolio companies in optimizing tokenomics, governance, community incentives, and protocol growth
- Track market and regulatory developments and share Web3 expertise across the team
Requirements
- 5+ years in venture capital, private equity, or early-stage Web3/DeFi investments
- Proven track record sourcing and executing early-stage Web3 deals
- Deep understanding of tokenomics, DAOs, liquidity pools, and staking mechanisms
- Financial modeling, valuation, and market research expertise
Preferred qualifications
- Experience with token launches and incentive design
- Familiarity with Dune, Nansen, Token Terminal, or other on-chain analytics tools
- Active participation in Web3 communities
