WNT Ventures is a New Zealand venture capital firm and technology incubator founded in 2014, established through the collaboration of Bay of Plenty entrepreneurs, organisations and institutional capital providers. It invests nationwide at Pre-Seed and Series A stages in early-stage, science-led deep tech companies - ventures whose technologies address significant global problems and whose commercialisation typically demands specialist support.

The firm operates two linked functions. Its venture investment arm backs companies from the earliest stages of an idea through Pre-Seed and Series A rounds. Alongside this, its Technology Incubation Programme provides hands-on assistance: sector expertise, resources and access to international networks as founders build companies aimed at global markets. WNT Ventures has been appointed twice to the Callaghan Innovation Technology Incubator Programme, the government-backed scheme supporting the commercialisation of complex technologies.

Sector coverage spans advanced manufacturing, agritech, food technology, medical technology, robotics, materials, aerospace, engineering and climate and sustainability technology. The firm works with founders across New Zealand and maintains a presence in Tauranga and Auckland. Its stated emphasis is on science-backed ventures at the point where laboratory technology must be translated into a company able to compete internationally.
