Outset Ventures

Outset Ventures is a deep-tech incubator and venture investor based in Aotearoa New Zealand. Its model combines three elements under one roof: a deep-tech venture fund, specialised laboratory and workshop facilities, and a founder community with operational support. The stated aim is to build science- and engineering-led companies from the lab bench to global scale.

The fund invests in science- and engineering-based businesses developing globally relevant technologies, backing founders from pre-seed through later early-stage rounds.
