Wellington's Private Investing platform manages approximately $11 billion in private assets and invests globally across venture capital, private credit, and private real estate.
The Role
The Associate will be involved in all aspects of the investment sourcing, underwriting, and execution process, with a core focus on deal-level financial modeling across growth and venture secondary transactions, including LP transactions, GP-led secondaries, and secondary directs.
Responsibilities
- Source, underwrite, and execute secondary transactions in venture and growth-stage companies
- Lead deal-level financial modeling across LP transactions, GP-leds, and secondary directs
- Conduct sector and company-level research to support investment decisions
- Manage multiple active deals simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
- Collaborate with the broader Wellington Private Investing platform
Requirements
- 3–5+ years of experience in secondary investing
- Strong financial modeling capabilities
- Analytical acumen and rigorous research proficiency
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Agility and flexibility to manage multiple deals simultaneously
- CFA charter or progress toward certification preferred
