What we believe inWealth can generate more wealth, if invested in responsible entrepreneurs: The accountability of the business that acts in the best interests of all the stakeholders who are drawn to it, develops value over the medium and long terms, and turns out to be a superior investment. Sustainable innovation: We give access to innovative investments that will shape our future economy: we give priority to those who have already embarked on a path of medium-long term economic, social and environmental sustainability, also to reduce risk and acquire greater prospective value Simplicity, Clarity and Transparency: We utilize technology to streamline procedures and provide a seamless, delightful user experience. Through the online platform and special meetings set up by our Investment Managers, all the pertinent information concerning the potential investment is made available. Empowerment and Training: Offering everyone the resources they need to learn about the industry and its quirks will make venture capital investments more accessible. As a result, education is a key pillar for fostering growth in people as well as the ecosystem as a whole. We are a Benefit Company Since its inception, Doorway has decided to be a Benefit Company, that is, a company that places the goals of profit alongside those of value creation and common benefit. How? By conveying venture capital in the service of the birth and development of innovative and sustainable enterprises that can bring positive effects to society. Every day Doorway strives to create real impact by contributing to some of the UN Sustainable Development Goals through its business activities. SDG 4: Quality education - Through the financial education activities carried out during the year and the training initiatives for investors and founders. SDG 5: Gender equality - Doorway promotes the culture of innovation and wants to support successful founders, especially of the female gender, who usually find it more difficult to raise capital. SDG 8: Decent work and economic growth - Through fundraising, Doorway supports those companies that want to grow and expand in Italy and abroad, creating wealth and jobs, especially for young people. Often the investment rounds are used precisely to structure teams and hire new resources. SDG 9: Innovation - Doorway sees the innovation ecosystem as a key driver of economic growth and wants to help it develop in Italy and Europe. We are signatories of the PRI By subscribing to the PRI, the Principles of Responsible Investment, Doorway confirms its ongoing focus on sustainability issues, being part of the international network of more than 4,000 signatory management companies and investors, managing more than $121 trillion in AUM. The initiative, launched in 2006 in New York by the United Nations, aims to establish links between investment and environmental, social and governance (ESG) issues and help signatories include these issues in their investment and shareholding decisions.

TH

The51

By uniting Canada’s untapped women’s wealth, The51 is creating a new critical mass of women investors, making Canada the centre for women-powered capital. With 30% of Alberta’s tech start-ups founded or co-founded by women, The51’s home province is well on its way to achieving this goal; however, with women-founded startups only receiving 2.2% of venture capital available world-wide, The51’s vision spans globally. We know we’ve tapped into something significant because our movement, community and impact continues to grow. The51 Ventures Inc. is a venture fund and Financial Feminist™ platform where current and aspiring investors and entrepreneurs come together to democratize access to capital for women and gender-diverse founders. By driving capital and commercialisation, The51 builds mutual wealth and social/environmental impact, shares knowledge and experiences and practices intersectional feminism through financial action. Our community of influential feminist investors, innovators, and consumers are building the Financial Feminist™ economy. (*when we say “women” we mean all individuals who identify as women. Transgender women are women. The51 is built by women for everyone.) We know we’ve tapped into something significant because our movement, community and impact continues to grow.

Aisiki Capital

This is expected to create significant financial and social returns. Aisiki focuses on women and youth led companies, as well as companies with a developmental impact stemming from the belief that this represents the greatest potential for job creation and economic development. The name Aisiki means “prosperity” in the Yoruba language. It was inspired by the strength, diligence and resilience commonly demonstrated by women across the continent from all walks of life as they constantly seek opportunities to uplift, provide for and build their homes, families, communities and individual capabilities. As an impact fund, Aisiki believes that a holistic model, which recognises the requirement to address all stakeholders when structuring investment opportunities, is a critical element of successful investing in developing economies. A key differentiator for Aisiki Impact Fund when compared to tradition debt and equity funds will be the strategic role the fund will play to place social impact at the core of everything we do.

WIT Angels Club

Women have less investment knowledge and are less confident about investing than men. We are team of committed women convinced that it’s the time to change this statement. Women have to be part of the technology revolution which takes place right under their nose. Tech with Purpose, where impact is at the core of the business model, is our Club’s investment thesis. The current growth-at-all-costs Unicorn model doesn’t fit the reality anymore. Instead, we are looking for the Camel model, as they show valuable lessons on how to survive through crisis, and to sustain and grow in adverse conditions. If your solution tackles essential problems that human beings face, we are a match.
