About the role
TekVentures is seeking a driven Senior Associate for its venture capital fund to play a central role across the full investment lifecycle.
Sourcing and deal flow
- Develop and maintain relationships with entrepreneurs, accelerators, investors, and ecosystem stakeholders.
- Scout for high-potential startups aligned with the investment thesis.
- Attend conferences, demo days, and industry events.
Diligence and execution
- Lead due diligence on potential investments, including market analysis, competitive benchmarking, financial modeling, and reference checks.
- Prepare and present investment memos to partners and the investment committee.
- Support deal closing and startup collaboration design.
Portfolio management
- Monitor portfolio performance and support monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting.
- Support portfolio companies in follow-on fundraising via ecosystem connections.
Firm strategy and operations
- Contribute to fund strategy, thesis development, and thematic research.
- Support communications to the Teknor Apex board of directors.
Location
Remote (US East Coast preferred).
