We’re looking for a driven and analytical Corporate Finance Associate (f/m/d) to join our finance team. Working closely with the CFO, you’ll support the financial and strategic operations of our funds, portfolio companies as well as redalpine, taking ownership of key analytical workstreams.
You’ll be involved in investment and exit analyses and processes, fundraising initiatives, portfolio monitoring, and financial planning. The role sits at the intersection of venture capital and corporate finance, providing hands-on exposure to how a leading venture capital firm operates day to day. This position is ideal for someone looking to build long-term experience in venture capital within a fast-moving, collaborative environment.
Modeling & Analysis: Conduct financial modeling, forecasting and analysis for redalpine’s fund portfolio.
Valuation: Take on a leading role in assessing the fair value of our portfolio holdings.
Transactions: Support transaction processes for portfolio companies (i.e., investments, follow-on rounds and divestments).
Strategic projects: Contribute to strategic initiatives and manage projects related to redalpine, the fund landscape and portfolio companies
Investment Evaluation & Due Diligence: Contribute to the evaluation and due diligence of prospective investment opportunities. Coordinate external service providers and take a central role in overall project management.
Presentations: Create storytelling-driven presentations for fundraising, investor updates, and key internal discussions.
AI Task Force: Help drive the adoption and development of AI tools to take the Finance function to the next level.
your profile
Bachelor’s degree in finance, business or related fields; master’s degree is a plus.
At least 5 years full-time experience in a finance-related role, e.g. corporate finance, consulting, investment banking, venture capital/ or private equity.
Exceptional analytical, financial modeling, Excel and presentation skills.
Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal; German is a plus.
