ABOUT THE ROLE
Plug and Play Taiwan is building and scaling accelerator programs & corporate innovations that sit at the intersection of startups, corporates, investors, and government partners. As a Program Manager, you will play a central role in executing these programs end-to-end, ensuring high-quality delivery, strong stakeholder engagement, and an exceptional experience for participating startups. You will work closely with founders, corporate partners, and internal teams to ensure programs run smoothly while contributing to the continued build-out of Plug and Play’s Taiwan office. This role requires a high degree of ownership and independent judgment, with the expectation that the Program Manager proactively identifies issues, proposes solutions, and drives execution without constant direction.
KEY RESPONSABILITIES
- Accelerator Management & Program Operations (40%)
- Own the day-to-day execution of accelerator programs, ensuring timelines, milestones, and deliverables are met
- Manage startup onboarding, program participation, and offboarding processes
- Coordinate workshops, mentor sessions, Expos, and program milestones
- Ensure a consistent, high-quality experience for participating startups and partners
- Stakeholder & Start-up Relationship Management (25%)
- Serve as the primary day-to-day point of contact for startups participating in the program
- Manage relationships with government partners
- Track startup engagement and flag risks or issues early to ensure program success
- Collect feedback and support continuous improvement of program design and execution
- Event Management & Execution (25%)
- Plan and execute program-related events, including Selection Days, Expos, and Alumni Gatherings
- Coordinate side events in support of business development and ecosystem engagement
- Manage event logistics, including venues, agendas, speaker coordination, and invitations
- Strategic Initiative (10%)
- Actively identify, design, and implement improvements to internal processes and execution standards as the Taiwan office scales
- Support cross-team coordination with Plug and Play global teams
- Identify operational gaps and propose practical improvements to increase efficiency and program quality
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
- 2–4 years of hands-on program management experience, ideally in startup ecosystems, accelerators, innovation programs, or fast-paced operating environments
- Strong strategic thinking combined with execution capability, with the ability to translate high-level objectives into effective programs
- A solid understanding of early-stage company dynamics, including founder needs, iteration cycles, and growth challenges
- Strong context-switching ability, comfortable managing multiple programs, stakeholders, and priorities in parallel
- A founder-first mindset, with genuine willingness to support startups through their growth journey
- High ownership and accountability, with attention to detail and follow-through
- Passion for building high-quality startup environments and contributing to entrepreneurial ecosystems
- Advanced English & Mandarin
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Min. 2 years of professional experience in program management, operations, or project execution roles within one or more of the following environments:
- Startup accelerators or incubators
- Startups or early-stage companies
- Fast-paced corporate environment
- Demonstrated experience managing programs or complex projects end-to-end, including timelines, multiple stakeholders, and deliverables
- Fluency in both Mandarin and English, with the ability to work professionally in both languages on calls, in writing, and in meetings
- Ability to operate in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment, managing multiple priorities and switching context effectively
- Strong organizational and communication skills, with proven attention to detail and follow-through
