About the role

We are recruiting an innovation support member for the energy sector. The role develops and executes initiatives based on corporate-partner needs and supports selected domestic and international startups, including demo day planning and operations.

Primary responsibilities

  • Large enterprise partner innovation support: innovation strategy formulation and execution; open innovation between startups and enterprises; new business creation; optional new-partner acquisition
  • Accelerator program operations & startup support: regular meetings and individualized mentoring with selected startups (including overseas expansion); event and content planning; partner-company matching
  • Startup sourcing & trend analysis: sourcing and evaluation; partnership exploration; trend research and insight reports
  • Additional: ecosystem network building; ad-hoc projects (self-proposals encouraged)

Required qualifications

  • Advanced business-level Japanese and English
  • Practical experience or expert knowledge in the energy sector
  • Bachelor's degree or higher

Preferred qualifications

  • Consulting / account management experience (2+ years)
  • Startup work or collaboration experience
  • New business launch experience at a major enterprise
  • Project management experience
  • Team management experience (for Sr. Manager level)
  • International experience

Work details

  • Hours: 8:30–17:30 (1-hour break)
  • Hybrid: remote available, 3 days/week in office
  • Trial period: 3 months
  • Leave: 10 days annual (max 20), 5 sick days, 5 refresh days, plus founding anniversary and year-end holidays
