Position Overview
We are looking for an entrepreneurially minded Chief of Staff with sound judgment, resourcefulness, curiosity and strong communication skills. This is a high-trust, high-impact role. You’ll work closely with the Managing Partner, ensuring our team operates efficiently. This role requires someone who can take initiative and solve problems as the Chief of Staff will play a pivotal role in fund operations, fundraising, investor relations, communication and overall logistics.
Role Logistics
The position is open to remote work with required workday overlap with both CET and ET time zones. Candidates that are based in New York, London, Paris, or Tel Aviv would have strongest in-person alignment with the Ora Global team. This role has an expectation of up to 10% travel in Europe, Israel, and the United States. Calendar flexibility is key in this role in order to best align with the Managing Partner’s frequent travel schedule across global time zones.
Key Responsibilities
Fund Operations & Execution
Manage quarterly and annual plan for key firm initiatives, reporting, events and projects, ensuring goals are met and timelines adhered to
Research, vetting, and implementation of new subscriptions, AI tools, and service providers for the firm
Manage application process for all FTEs
Investor Relations & Communications
Work closely with the Managing Partner to manage communications with existing LPs and prospective investors (e.g., draft LP updates, investor memos, and presentation decks)
Develop and maintain fund and marketing materials, and ongoing investor communications - including content development for thought leadership (e.g., articles, speaking engagements) in collaboration with external agency
Manage CRM for investor pipeline, fundraising workflow and reporting
Executive Support
Support calendar strategy of Managing Director - i.e. “where we go, when, and why”
Own follow up tracking for key meetings and liaise with portfolio companies regarding Board participation meetings and requirements
Support calendar and travel logistics for Managing Director in collaboration with Ora Global’s Operations Manager
Qualifications
Professional experience in venture capital, banking, consulting, financial services, or a high-growth startup
Demonstrated ability to partner effectively with senior leaders and anticipate their needs
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with an ability to distill complex information into clear, actionable insights
Strong ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines with a strong sense of initiative
Proficient in standard productivity and communications tools (Office, Google suite, etc.) - previous experience with Airtable and fluency in AI tools is a plus
High schedule flexibility is key to work most effectively with Managing Partner
