Role Description
Cota Capital is seeking an Investor Relations, Senior Analyst to support best-in-class LP communications, fundraising operations, and capital raising efforts. This role sits at the center of how we present the firm to investors—precision, and polish across fundraising, marketing materials, quarterly reporting, CRM hygiene, and day-to-day LP support. You’ll work closely with senior team members and gain broad exposure to fund operations, investor engagement, and the rhythms of an early-stage investment platform.
Qualifications
Assist with capital raising efforts by sourcing, engaging, and managing Limited Partner relationships.
Fund marketing materials: Assist in updating and maintaining fund marketing materials, including investor presentations.
Assist with the drafting, editing, production, and timely distribution of quarterly fund update letters and investor presentations, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and a high standard of quality.
CRM ownership & data integrity: Help manage the CRM system (data hygiene, tagging, pipeline updates, meeting notes, and reporting).
LP segmentation & communication strategy: Identify high-priority LP segments and recommend tailored communication approaches based on investor profiles, interests, and engagement history.
LP relationship support: Support communications with existing LPs, including requests, follow-ups, scheduling, and maintaining a responsive, professional investor experience.
Role Requirements
Bachelor’s degree, preferably in finance, accounting, economics, or related business fields.
1–2 years of experience in investor relations, placement agent work, or a related institutional client-facing role (e.g., fund admin, investment banking, advisory, or asset management support).
Excellent communication and writing skills with strong editing instincts and attention to detail.
Demonstrated time management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple deadlines simultaneously.
High ownership mindset: proactive, dependable, and comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment with ambiguity.
Strong PowerPoint and Excel skills; ability to produce clean, investor-ready deliverables.
