Compensation range: $140K–$190K total comp 

Location: New York, NY (hybrid; expected in-office presence approximately four days per week).

Role

Town Hall Ventures is seeking a Lead, Growth Platform & Communications to help strengthen and scale the firm’s relationship infrastructure, communications systems, and external platform. This role sits within the Growth & Partnerships function — a newly established area of the firm — and will report to the Head of Growth & Partnerships.

The Lead will work cross-functionally with partners, investment professionals, and external communications vendors to ensure THV’s messaging, relationship systems, and portfolio storytelling are consistent, current, and scalable. This is a new role that offers the opportunity to build foundational systems supporting Fund IV and the next phase of firm growth.

Key Responsibilities

Communications and Brand Systems

- Produce Town Hall’s annual newsletter for LPs and friends

- Serve as liaison for THV’s relationship with its media partners and the design partner for a website refresh to ensure design, tone, and messaging align with Fund priorities.

- Own search engine optimization (SEO) and generative engine optimization (GEO) implementation and monitoring for the fund

- Maintain an integrated communications calendar covering web updates, media moments, and thought-leadership opportunities, including participation in conferences, events and speaking engagements.

- Support implementation of the firm’s Impact Council and other initiatives that demonstrate measurable outcomes of THV’s investments.

- Own website updates and maintenance

- Coordinate social media posts across team (LinkedIn, blog posts etc.)

Strategic LP Network and Portfolio Company Knowledge Management and Content Development

- Impact Reporting - Partner with Head of Growth and Partnerships to optimize metrics, analyze key data, gather case studies and build out the annual THV Impact Report and AGM Impact Presentation

- Leveraging AI wherever possible, build and maintain a centralized library for firm materials — portfolio descriptions, THV POV documents, and market perspectives.

- Portfolio company liaison - Partner with investment team members to ensure portfolio information and firm messaging remain current and consistent.

- Strategic LP Network - Support key meeting preparation with Town Hall’s LPs and Strategic accounts, working across the team to ensure that the content is built, updated and targeted to the audience.

Relationship Infrastructure and Monitoring (CRM and Knowledge Management)

- Partner with the Affinity Customer Success team and Head of Growth and Partnerships to optimize THV’s CRM for tracking and synthesizing LP, partner, and portfolio relationships.

- Implement processes for capturing and sharing institutional knowledge and introductions across the team.

- Build reporting and list structures to support relationship development and key account management cycle.

Community and Events

- Coordinate select founder and partner in-person gatherings, primarily in New York, and secondarily in California, to strengthen THV’s network visibility.

- Assist planning for and hosting firmwide events (AGM, CEO Summit, Webinars, etc.) to ensure alignment between communications, logistics, and experience.

Experience and Qualifications

- 3+ years of experience in communications, operations, investor relations, or platform roles within venture capital, healthcare innovation, or related sectors.

- Strong writing, editing, and verbal communication skills, with the ability to organize information, clarify messaging, and support the team in shaping concise, high-quality communications. 

- Experience managing CRM tools (Affinity preferred) and content management systems.

- Demonstrated success managing cross-functional projects or vendor relationships (e.g., design, web, or media partners).

- Background or familiarity with healthcare, impact investing, or mission-driven organizations preferred.

- Experience and familiarity with Google Suite, Excel, Powerpoint, website hosting tools, AI tools (ie notetakers, content production, etc.), design tools like Canva, LinkedIn company pages and content generation

- Comfortable working with data in Excel or similar tools; able to support basic analysis for communications, impact reporting, and relationship insights.

- Comfortable with document production (slides, content, etc) in collaboration with broader team

- Collaborative and team-oriented, with strong EQ and the ability to work effectively across team members and external stakeholders

- Intellectually curious and proactive in identifying opportunities to improve systems, processes, and communications.

Reporting Structure and Location

This role reports to the Head of Growth & Partnerships and will collaborate closely with the THV partnership, investment, and operations teams.
