N49P grew out of a commitment to building Canada’s technology future. Its team helped launch TechTO, connecting more than 60,000 subscribers, and brought AngelList Ventures to Canada while supporting founders across the country. Those experiences revealed an opportunity to invest in ambitious Canadian companies at the earliest stage, when founders need both conviction and practical help to turn an idea into a business.

Today, N49P is a Canadian pre-seed venture capital firm that backs technology founders, often as their first outside investor. The firm combines early capital with hands-on guidance, a founder-led community, and access to a network of experienced leaders and potential customers. It has invested in more than 90 companies and aims to help founders build and scale globally competitive businesses. Its portfolio includes companies such as EvenUp, Spellbook, Maneva, and Quandri.
