The role
We're hiring an Associate - Compliance & Accounts (2-4 years in AIF/PE/VC fund operations or fund accounting).
Responsibilities
Regulatory & secretarial
- Lead SEBI compliance for Category I & II AIFs
- Manage RBI/FEMA filings; oversee fund and sponsor-level tax compliance
- Liaise with the Trustee regarding CTR and quarterly certificates
Investor onboarding & governance
- Own KYC/AML compliance
- Support LP communications including SOA and tax certificates
Fund operations & depository
- Coordinate with CDSL/NSDL; track portfolio company equity demat
- Manage accountant, custodian, and bank workflows
Audit, valuation & reporting
- Project-manage statutory and internal audits
- Coordinate with valuers; maintain the digital data room
Requirements
- 2-4 years in AIF/PE/VC fund operations or fund accounting
- CA (or Inter-CA) / CS; bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field
- NISM Series XIX-C certification strongly preferred
