About the role
The Portfolio Operations Manager oversees legal documentation, collateral custody, and post-close compliance workflows across the venture loan portfolio.
Responsibilities
- Oversee loan amendments, waivers, and legal deliverables
- Maintain custody standards for collateral including stock certificates and warrants
- Manage UCC filings and lien perfection
- Perform audit-ready documentation reviews
- Collaborate across investment, legal, and accounting teams on portfolio matters
Requirements
- 5–8 years in loan operations or custody management, preferably at a BDC or private credit firm
- Strong organizational skills with expertise in legal documentation
- Experience with collateral management and UCC filings
- Detail-oriented with ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
