A corporate venture capital (CVC) company is seeking a Junior-level Fund Administrator to support the administration and operational activities of its venture capital funds. This role requires strong attention to detail, good coordination skills, and a willingness to learn in a dynamic environment.
The Fund Administrator will handle day-to-day fund administration tasks while coordinating closely with internal teams, service providers, partners, and portfolio companies to ensure smooth operations and proper governance.
Key Responsibilities
Operations, Coordination & Portfolio Support
Prepare payment vouchers and supporting documents for payment approvals
Assist in the preparation and coordination of company documents
Support improvements to internal processes, documentation, and workflows
Assist in arranging events, meetings, and activities
Coordinate with parent company, affiliates, regulators, and external partners on reporting, data requests, and operational matters
Fund Administration, Reporting & Governance Support
Support the administration and management of venture capital funds, including data entry, maintenance of investment and fund information, and updating transaction records (cash inflows/outflows, capital commitments, capital drawdowns)
Monitor the Company’s liquidity position and assist in liquidity management activities; support approval processes and coordination with custodians and service providers
Assist in preparing investment, fund, and performance reports upon request from the investment team
Support preparation of materials for company’s meetings
Coordinate with internal teams and external accountants to provide required information for financial statement preparation and the Company’s audit process
Ad-hoc Support
Assist with ad-hoc projects and general operational tasks as required
Act as a coordination point for fund administration matters, escalating issues appropriately and in line with internal procedures
Requirements
Education & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field
Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in fund administration, finance operations, accounting, or a related role. Candidates with more experience who are comfortable with a junior-level role are welcome to apply
Skills & Competencies
Good working skills in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office
Strong attention to detail and good organizational skills
Ability to manage tasks independently within established guidelines and approval processes
Strong coordination and interpersonal skills; comfortable working with multiple internal and external stakeholders
Adaptable, proactive, and willing to learn; able to self-learn, explore solutions, and seek guidance when encountering new or unfamiliar issues
Good command of English, both written and verbal, sufficient for professional communication with internal teams, portfolio companies, and external partners
