Endgame Capital is a commercialization-first conviction led fund backing early-stage companies that decarbonize real industries and win on economics. We invest in technologies where climate impact and industrial profit overlap at scale. We support founders from first customers to commercial scale.

As a Visiting Analyst, you will work directly with the investment team across sourcing, diligence, portfolio support and platform building. We are only considering candidates who have the right to work in the UK or EU. Candidates who do not have this right will not be considered.

What you will do

1) Source deals and research high-conviction investment topics

You will help identify startups across key sectors: Energy, Industry, Built World, Food & Ag, Mobility.

Responsibilities include:

  • Thoroughly understand our investment thesis and key considerations

  • Proactively source founders and deals through networks, events and outbound research

  • Contribute to high-conviction investment theses creation and sector deep dives

2) Support live deals from first call to investment decision

You will work hands-on across the investment process and see how real early-stage climate tech investments get made:

  • Screening, qualifying and analyzing investment opportunities

  • Interacting directly with founders

  • Supporting technical, commercial and impact due diligence

  • Assisting with investment memo writing

3) Help build Endgame’s platform for commercial-focused climate tech

We are building more than a fund. You will contribute to:

  • Founder support projects across go-to-market, partnerships and commercialization

  • Content and ecosystem initiatives including reports, events and newsletters

  • Internal tooling, processes and operating playbooks

  • Scout network and ecosystem partnerships

This role evolves as the fund grows.

Who you are

We care more about mindset and execution ability than pedigree.

This role is not an entry‑level position in venture capital; we are looking for a candidate with prior early‑stage VC experience, ideally with exposure to climate technology.

You likely recognize yourself in most of these:

  • Team-first, ego-last. You thrive in collaborative environments and care about collective outcomes, not individual credit.

  • High ownership mindset. You operate independently, take responsibility end-to-end, and don’t wait to be told what to do.

  • Strong critical thinker. You form your own investment opinions, challenge assumptions, and enjoy pressure-testing ideas.

  • Commercially minded. You are comfortable with numbers, markets, unit economics, and evaluating business fundamentals. You naturally think in terms of ROI and value creation.

  • People-driven. You genuinely enjoy meeting new founders, operators, and investors and can build rapport fast.

  • High tempo. You are energized by fast-moving environments, ambiguity, and rapid iteration.

  • Adaptable by default. You’re comfortable with your role evolving as the fund grows and priorities shift.

  • Ecosystem-native. You are deeply interested in startups, venture capital, and company building.

  • Natural networker. You actively build and leverage relationships and already have a strong university, tech, or founder network you can tap into.

  • Pragmatic climate realist. You are excited about climate tech as real industrial transformation and commercial opportunity, not policy theory or green marketing.

  • Strong communicator. You can write clearly, structure arguments, and communicate confidently with senior stakeholders.

Practical details

  • Location: Brussels-based with hybrid flexibility or fully remote if you are in a key ecosystem city. Occasional travel for events and site visits.

  • Duration: 6 to 9 months

  • Start date: Rolling intake

  • Eligibility: Must have the right to work in Belgium or EU or UK

  • Opportunity to become a full time role

Why Endgame

You will not be doing spreadsheet busywork in the background.

You will:

  • Work directly with partners and founders

  • See real deals close

  • Build real climate tech investing experience

  • Learn how commercialization-first venture actually works

  • Build a network across top founders, operators and investors
