We offer a unique opportunity to immerse yourself in the world of Venture Capital through a 6-month off-cycle engagement. We are looking for a specific breed of talent: someone who sits at the intersection of a business-minded developer and a venture analyst. If you’re the person your friends ask about which LLM agents to use, or if you’ve spent your weekend fine-tuning a model just to see if it could automate a tedious task, we want to talk to you. This experience is designed to give you a foundation for a future career in Venture Capital, launching your own startup, or joining an early-stage company. There may be an opportunity to continue with us beyond the initial six months.
Your Responsibilities
As a Visiting Analyst, you will be a part of our investment team and your time will be split between traditional VC sourcing and acting
as our AI scout. We expect you to:
Use your technical edge to identify signals in the noise. You’ll perform thesis-driven research and monitor data-driven dealflow to find
founders before they hit the radar of other funds.
Spend a significant portion of your time staying at the bleeding edge. You will test new AI solutions, evaluate technical moats of
potential investments, and implement internal tools that help 3VC scale and/or grow stronger.
Be embedded in the senior investment team and work on a variety of tasks ranging from market mapping and competitive analysis to supporting the entire due diligence process.

You will be based in Vienna – the most livable city in the world – and will interact with startup founders and teams and top investors across the EU, the UK, and the US. You will work from a beautiful office in the 1st district in Vienna with the option of home-office/remote work.
You will receive a remuneration package starting at € 40.000 gross annually (on a full-time, all-in basis).
What Are We Looking For?
You have a proven passion for software and technology, i.e., you’ve likely launched an OpenClaw instance, messed around with LangChain, or built your own scrapers just for fun.
You are expected to have opinionated views on major trends as well as on individual opportunities. You don’t just follow trends; you have a thesis on why they matter (or why they’re hype).
You are a driven self-starter, and you are comfortable in dealing with a high-paced environment while remaining optimistic.
You are an EU citizen and/or have a work permit for Austria.
You hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in a scientific or business-related field.
Ideally, you have done an internship in tech and have 2 years of full-time work experience.
