Role Overview

EWV seeks an experienced and highly entrepreneurial Managing Partner to help lead the firm’s strategic growth, fundraising efforts, portfolio development, and platform expansion. This senior leadership role requires a proven venture capital professional with deep relationships across the LP ecosystem, a strong investment track record, and the ability to build institutional-grade venture infrastructure. The Managing Partner will play a critical role in shaping fund strategy, raising capital, mentoring internal investment talent, and positioning EWV as a premier venture platform for frontier innovation. This flexible remote role involves external-facing responsibilities across fundraising, investor relations, ecosystem development, and portfolio management.

Key Responsibilities

Fundraising & Limited Partner Relations

• Lead capital formation strategy for Frontier Fund I and future fund vehicles
• Refine the investment thesis and fundraising materials
• Source, cultivate, and close investments with LPs including HNWIs, Family Offices, Fund-of-Funds and Institutional Investors
• Build long-term trusted relationships with existing and prospective Limited Partners
• Drive strategic co-investment and syndication opportunities

Firm Strategy & Leadership

• Help define and execute the firm’s long-term strategic vision and growth roadmap
• Build and strengthen EWV’s brand positioning as a leading venture platform for Frontier Innovators
• Develop operational excellence across fund management, governance, compliance, and institutional best practices
• Collaborate with General Partners to establish scalable internal processes and decision-making frameworks
• Contribute to future fund design, platform expansion, and GP strategy

Investment Leadership

• Support sourcing, diligence, and investment decision-making across seed-stage opportunities
• Evaluate market opportunities, founder quality, product defensibility, and venture-scale potential
• Guide portfolio construction strategy and reserve deployment planning
• Strengthen the firm’s investment network across founders, co-investors, accelerators, and ecosystem partners

Portfolio Support & Platform Development

• Mentor portfolio founders on fundraising strategy, growth planning, customer acquisition, and operational scaling.
• Support strategic introductions across customers, investors, executive talent, and strategic partners
• Create value-add programming for portfolio companies and venture ecosystem stakeholders
• Build initiatives that strengthen founder access in emerging venture markets

Team Development

• Mentor and develop a high-performing team of investors, operators, and platform leaders
• Foster a culture of excellence, accountability, transparency, and founder-first support
• Help recruit top-tier investment and operating talent to the firm

Qualifications

• 15+ years of experience in venture capital, private equity, growth equity, investment banking, or institutional investing.
• Proven track record of successful raising multiple previous venture funds through a strong network across family offices, institutional investors, fund-of-funds, and venture ecosystem stakeholders
• Experience leading or serving in a senior investment role within a venture capital firm
• Deep understanding of fund construction, deal structuring, portfolio strategy, venture economics, and LP management
• Strong knowledge of seed-stage investing and venture-backed company growth dynamics
• Experience mentoring founders and supporting early-stage company scaling.
