Strategy and Venturing Manager

We are seeking a hands-on Strategy & Venturing Manager to quarterback corporate partner engagements and bridge advisory work with venture development and investing. In this role, you will lead end-to-end strategy projects while working across venture investing, corporate development, portfolio support, and new opportunity development. You will manage cross-functional teams and analysts while interacting directly with Fortune 500 executives and founders/CEOs of early-stage startups.
Key Responsibilities
Engagement Leadership & Corporate Strategy (45%)
- Drive End-to-End Engagements: Lead client and partner projects from initiation to delivery—defining objectives, structuring analytical frameworks, managing work plans, and delivering high-impact deliverables.
- Direct Strategic Research & Modeling: Evaluate current partner strategies, industry economics, business models, and market dynamics to identify high-growth opportunities.
- Assess Emerging Technologies: Analyze transformational technology trends and evaluate their commercial impact on industries, incumbents, and value chains.
- Executive Communication: Synthesize complex data and strategic conclusions into executive presentations, briefs, and deliverables for C-suite and senior leaders.
Venture Development & Investing (45%)
- Venture Evaluation & Diligence: Identify, evaluate, and perform due diligence on high-potential, venture-stage startups to support strategic investment decisions.
- Pipeline Management: Own the pipeline management and investment execution process for an investing partnership.
- Financial & Valuation Modeling: Build financial and valuation models to assess the economic impact of corporate growth strategies and venture investments.
- Portfolio & Growth Support: Actively support portfolio companies and help corporate partners integrate innovation to drive new business models.
Team Leadership & Account Growth (10%)
- Manage & Mentor Analysts: Direct, review, and elevate the daily output of team analysts, guiding their analytical and professional development.
- Expand Partnerships: Proactively identify opportunities to extend, expand, and deepen existing corporate partner relationships.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Experience: 4-6 years of total professional experience, with a proven track record in top-tier management consulting, corporate strategy, investment banking, or venture capital.
- Demonstrated ability to independently lead complex engagements and guide analyst workstreams.
- Strong proficiency in strategic frameworks, market sizing, corporate financial analysis, and business valuation.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills with experience presenting to and influencing C-level executives and startup founders.
- A strong passion for early-stage technology, emerging markets, entrepreneurship, and venture collaborative models.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
- Proficiency in leveraging AI tools to support research, material creation, and overall workflows with experience in agent creation.
