About Edenred Ventures

Edenred Ventures is an independent venture capital fund backed by Edenred as a single LP, investing in European B2B technology companies primarily at Seed and Series A across Future of Work, Fintech, Retail/Commerce Tech and Professional Mobility (including adjacent Energy Transition segments). We also selectively invest in early-stage funds and specialist funds operating across those segments.

Backed by Edenred – a global platform listed on Euronext Paris (EDEN) and connecting +60m workers, +2m merchant partners and +1m corporate clients across 44 countries – we combine the independence of a venture fund with the strategic distribution, commercial reach and sector insight of a major corporate. For our founders, in addition to capital, that means access to a wide range of product and geographic perspectives, including operational expertise. We are a small, high-trust team that makes its own investment decisions and holds itself to a high bar.

The role

We're hiring an Investment Manager or Principal (title and seniority dependent on experience) to join our London team and take ownership of investments end to end, from sourcing and building conviction through diligence, execution and portfolio support.

This is a hands-on role with real autonomy and clear scope to take on greater responsibility and leadership over time. We’re particularly interested in people who have seen great investing up close and are now looking for more ownership and a platform they can help shape.

Unlike a traditional venture capital fund, part of our role is delivering value to our corporate LP beyond financial returns – which requires an interest in and the ability to develop a deep understanding of Edenred's value proposition and operating model.

What you'll do

Source and originate high-quality investment opportunities across our focus sectors, building a strong personal network among founders and the wider ecosystem

Lead diligence end to end – founder, commercial, financial and market – and develop a clear, well-constructed investment view

Prepare and present investment recommendations to the Investment Committee in a clear, sharp and decision-ready format

Lead deal execution including term sheet negotiation, legal documentation and completion

Build and maintain strong relationships across the Edenred group, including sharing insights and expertise

Support portfolio companies post-investment, including unlocking commercial and strategic value through the Edenred network

Monitor market trends and build high-conviction sector theses across our areas of focus

Contribute to team development, mentorship of juniors and improving how we work

Contribute to building the Edenred Ventures brand externally via ecosystem engagement with founders, co-investors and at conferences

What we're looking for

Professional fluency in French and English is a must

Minimum of 6+ years’ relevant professional experience, including at least 3 years investing in venture capital, corporate venture capital or growth equity. Seed / Series A investment experience is an advantage

A background in investment banking or consulting is an advantage, but we're also open to former founders or operators who have since moved into investing

Experience investing in B2B businesses and familiarity with one or more of our focus sectors is an advantage

A track record of sourcing, leading and closing deals independently

Strong commercial judgement with the ability to assess markets, business models and founder potential

An active network across the UK and/or European tech ecosystem that can be leveraged from day one

London-based, or willing to relocate to London

You’ll likely be a good fit if you are or bring

High ownership and low ego: proactive, accountable for outcomes and able to drive and own workstreams end-to-end independently

A team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills: values debate and contributes to collective thinking, can quickly build trust with founders and co-investors alike and has the credibility to present to senior corporate stakeholders

Analytically rigorous and comfortable with market sizing and competitive analysis, financial modelling, unit economics, valuation analysis etc.

Intellectually curious about transformative and emerging technologies as well as fluent with AI tools and workflows

Comfortable forming and defending a view with imperfect information

Why join

Ownership and autonomy from day one, in a role where you’ll lead deals rather than support them

The independence of a venture fund combined with the distribution and strategic weight of a global corporate platform

A small, high-trust team that behaves like the entrepreneurs we back: proactive, resourceful and ambitious

Edenred Ventures is an equal opportunity employer and welcomes applications from all backgrounds.
