We’re expanding our Quantitative Research Unit at D11Z. Ventures, one of Europe’s largest single-LP Family Office VCs.
We’re looking for a hands-on Quantitative Intern eager to apply AI and quantitative research to the world of Venture Capital.
If you’re passionate about machine learning, data-driven investing, and startups, this is your opportunity to work at the intersection of tech and finance and help redefine how we generate venture alpha.
Tasks
Develop and test quantitative models predicting startup success, funding timing, and sector momentum
Build and validate ML/NLP models using venture and market data
Create data automation pipelines (e.g. Pipedream, Airflow, custom APIs)
Evaluate alternative data sources to uncover new alpha signals
Collaborate with investors to turn data into actionable insights
Requirements
Master’s student or Gap Year between Bachelor and Master (CS, Physics, Math, or similar)
Strong skills in Python, ML frameworks (PyTorch, scikit-learn, TensorFlow) and APIs (PostgREST / Supabase REST APIs)
Solid software engineering and data automation skills
Familiarity with Pipedream, LangChain, Hugging Face, or Streamlit
Quantitative mindset and a passion for startups and venture capital
Good command of both German and English
Above all: hands-on, curious, builder mindset
