About the role:

We are looking for an Intern to support our investment team.

You will work closely with the team and Managing Partners to identify, evaluate, and support early-stage software companies across Switzerland and Europe.

This is an excellent opportunity to learn the venture capital craft hands-on, from sourcing startups and assessing technology to understanding market dynamics and business models.

You will also contribute to internal automation and data projects to make our workflows more efficient.

Your Responsibilities

  • Deal Sourcing: Identify emerging startups, technologies, and market trends in B2B software and deep tech. Support the team in maintaining and prioritizing deal flow.

  • Investment Analysis: Evaluate business models and product-market fit. Analyze technology, teams, and early traction indicators. Assist in preparing internal summaries and materials for investment discussions.

  • Research & Insights: Conduct research on new technologies and market segments (e.g. AI, DevOps, automation, cybersecurity, industrial software). Help the team form a point of view on where innovation is happening.

  • Automation & Tools: Support small technical or data-related projects (e.g. CRM automations, API integrations, or dashboards). Improve internal processes and tool usage (Attio, Notion, etc.).

  • Team Support: Help with day-to-day fund tasks, event coordination, and portfolio data management.

Your Profile:

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Robotics, or another technical field.

  • Strong interest in startups, entrepreneurship, and venture capital – previous experience is not required.

  • Analytical thinker with curiosity for how software products and business models work.

  • Proactive, organized, and motivated to learn in a dynamic environment.

  • Ability to handle data or code (Python, scripting, or APIs) is a plus.

  • Fluent in English (German or French a plus).

What We Offer:

  • Direct exposure to deal flow and investment decision-making in a leading Swiss VC in both the software and healthcare spaces.

  • Mentorship from experienced investors and entrepreneurs.

  • A chance to apply your technical mindset to real-world startup analysis.

  • Flexible working setup (Zurich-based, hybrid possible).

  • Competitive internship compensation.

  • A collaborative, curious, and entrepreneurial environment.

If you’re a technically minded, startup-curious student who wants to learn how venture capital works from the inside, we’d love to hear from you!
