Cascador
Lagos-based accelerator founded in 2019, supporting growth-stage African founders with its ScaleUp leadership programme and a Catalytic Fund deploying up to $5m a year.
Cascador is a Lagos-based accelerator and founder-support organisation founded in 2019. It works with growth-stage African businesses - companies with proven traction and a strong team - through a combination of leadership development, strategic guidance and post-programme capital. Its geographic focus is Nigeria and, more broadly, Sub-Saharan Africa and the African continent.
The organisation's principal offering is the ScaleUp Program, a tailored leadership and business-development programme that combines bespoke business analysis, practical learning and personalised introductions to experienced founders, advisors and capital partners. Capital is provided separately, through the Catalytic Fund, which offers tailored growth financing to eligible programme alumni in the form of debt, equity, guarantees and collateral support. The fund deploys up to $5 million annually.
Support continues after the programme through an alumni network, providing an ongoing channel for connections and assistance. The model is structured around durable, founder-centric engagement rather than a single funding event: analysis and development first, financing second, and community thereafter.
