The role
This is a sourcing-focused position for someone deeply embedded in AI ecosystems who can identify founders, evaluate technology, and support early-stage companies throughout the investment cycle.
Ideal candidate
- Computer science or engineering background, AI investment experience, or AI startup founder/operator experience
- Daily AI tool usage and deep familiarity with the AI landscape
- Strong sourcing instincts and willingness to travel extensively across Europe
- Berlin-based or willing to relocate
- Fluent English; European language skills advantageous
Key responsibilities
- Source AI founders across Europe
- Travel extensively to meet founders
- Evaluate investment opportunities with technical depth
- Develop market insights on AI trends
- Support portfolio companies operationally
- Represent the fund to founders
