The Role
Antler seeks a technical investment professional to join its UK investment team. The position emphasizes hands-on support for engineering-focused founders, combining sourcing, diligence, and coaching responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Identifying and evaluating exceptional technical founders pre-traction
- Building relationships within engineering and AI/ML communities
- Supporting founders through product strategy and MVP development
- Conducting technical diligence and investment assessments
- Guiding fundraising and growth initiatives
- Strengthening internal assessment processes
The role requires energy, presence, and judgement under pressure during intensive residency periods, and demands someone comfortable working end-to-end on investment opportunities.
Candidate Profile
Ideal candidates bring significant startup operating experience as founders, CTOs, or early technical leaders, with proven ability to ship in ambiguous, resource-constrained environments. VC experience is optional; deep building experience is essential.
