Ambridge Capital is a technology-focused investment platform investing in high-growth private companies across the United States and globally, from early-stage opportunities through growth and late-stage/pre-IPO investments.
Alongside Ambridge Capital, the role will also support a privately owned investment company investing proprietary capital across technology companies, funds and special investment opportunities.
We are looking for an entrepreneurial and highly organized Investor Relations & Capital Partnerships Manager to manage and develop relationships with existing and prospective investors, family offices and strategic partners.
The role sits at the intersection of investor relations, capital formation, portfolio communication and investment operations and will work directly with the principal of the investment platforms.
This is not a traditional IR role within a large institution. The successful candidate will operate in a small, highly entrepreneurial environment and will have significant exposure to private technology investments, founders, venture funds and sophisticated international investors.
Responsibilities
Investor Relations
Manage relationships with existing investors, LPs, family offices and co-investment partners across Ambridge Capital and related investment vehicles.
Act as a primary point of contact for investor inquiries and maintain regular, professional communication with the investor base.
Prepare quarterly and annual investor updates, portfolio reports, investment performance summaries and other investor communications.
Coordinate capital calls, distributions and other investor-related communications together with administrators, legal counsel and finance teams.
Maintain accurate investor records, CRM data and documentation.
Develop a structured investor-relations calendar and ensure consistent follow-up with investors.
Capital Formation & Partnerships
Support fundraising for funds, SPVs, co-investments and other investment vehicles.
Develop and maintain relationships with:
- Family offices
- Entrepreneurs
- High-net-worth investors
- Institutional investors
- Fund managers
- Strategic co-investment partners
Identify potential new investors and develop a systematic approach to relationship building and investor outreach.
Coordinate introductory meetings, investor presentations and follow-up processes.
Help build a network of long-term capital partners who can participate alongside Ambridge in selected investment opportunities.
Investment Opportunities & Co-Investments
Prepare concise investment materials for investors regarding selected opportunities.
Coordinate investor participation in individual transactions and SPVs.
Work closely with the investment team to understand each opportunity and communicate the investment thesis clearly and accurately.
Track investor indications of interest, allocations, subscriptions and closings.
Support due diligence requests from investors and coordinate access to relevant documentation.
Maintain confidentiality around highly sensitive private-company information.
Investor Materials & Communications
Create and maintain high-quality:
- Investor presentations
- Fund decks
- Investment memos
- Portfolio summaries
- Track-record presentations
- Quarterly letters
- Company updates
- One-page investment summaries
- Data-room materials
Ensure that all investor-facing materials maintain a consistent and highly professional standard.
Translate complex investment information into concise and compelling investor communication.
Portfolio & Reporting
Maintain an overview of portfolio-company developments, valuations, financing rounds, exits and liquidity events.
Coordinate with portfolio companies, fund administrators and internal teams to collect relevant information.
Help maintain accurate portfolio valuations and performance data.
Track key metrics including invested capital, realized proceeds, unrealized value, MOIC and IRR where relevant.
Develop reporting that gives investors a clear overview of portfolio performance.
Operations & Coordination
Coordinate with external:
- Fund administrators
- Lawyers
- Tax advisers
- Accountants
- Banks
- Custodians
- SPV providers
Assist with subscription documentation, KYC/AML processes and investor onboarding.
Help organize investor meetings, annual meetings and private events.
Support the principal on investor-related correspondence and strategic relationships.
Candidate Profile
We are looking for someone with approximately 3–8 years of relevant professional experience, ideally in one or more of the following:
- Venture capital
- Private equity
- Investor relations
- Family office
- Investment banking
- Private banking
- Fund placement
- Asset management
- Fund administration
The successful candidate should have a strong understanding of private-market investing and be comfortable discussing early-stage venture investments as well as growth-stage and pre-IPO transactions.
Experience dealing with sophisticated investors, family offices or institutional LPs is highly desirable.

Detail-oriented. Investor allocations, legal documents and investment figures must be accurate.
International. Comfortable interacting with investors and companies across Europe and the United States.
Qualifications
Bachelor's or Master's degree in finance, economics, business, law or a related field.
Strong understanding of venture capital and private markets.
Excellent written and spoken English.
Additional European languages, particularly Italian or German, would be advantageous.
Advanced proficiency with Excel / Google Sheets and PowerPoint / Keynote.
Experience with CRM systems and investor reporting platforms is a plus.
Familiarity with fund structures, SPVs, subscription processes and KYC/AML is highly desirable.
