Senior Investment Manager

Role Description The Senior Investment Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. This role is responsible for sourcing, evaluating, and executing investment opportunities in fintech, applied AI across Emerging Asia and the US. Daily activities include conducting market and company analysis, interviewing and engaging with founders, evaluating investment opportunities, and supporting the investment process from sourcing through execution, including: building financial models, performing due diligence, preparing IC reports and developing investment theses and strategies.

The Senior Investment Manager will manage portfolio companies, communicate & support founders with strategic guidance, and collaborate closely with the investment team to monitor performance and risk. The role also involves preparing investment reports, memos and presentations, representing 6igma at industry events, and contributing to the firm’s long-term investment roadmap.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years experience in Investment Management and Investments, including end-to-end deal execution and portfolio oversight.
• Advanced Analytical Skills with experience in financial modeling, valuation, and data-driven decision-making.
• Solid foundation in Finance, including corporate finance, capital markets, and risk assessment.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related quantitative field.
• Prior experience in venture capital, growth equity, investment banking, or strategy consulting, preferably with exposure to fintech or technology sectors.
• Ability to work effectively with founders and cross-cultural teams, with strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• High integrity, sound judgment, and a long-term, impact-driven mindset aligned with 6igma’s investment philosophy.
• Confident public speaker and communicator, with flexibility for domestic and international travel.
