About Us
We are a global venture capital firm investing in technology startups across India, the US, and other international markets. We're looking for a proactive Legal Associate to support our investments, legal operations, compliance, and portfolio companies.
Responsibilities
Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, NDAs, and commercial agreements.
Support investment transactions, including term sheets, SAFE agreements, convertible notes, SPVs, shareholders' agreements, subscription agreements, and other legal documents.
Assist with legal due diligence, fund documentation, corporate governance, and compliance.
Coordinate with external legal counsel across multiple jurisdictions.
Conduct legal research and maintain legal records and documentation.
Support intellectual property, trademarks, and regulatory matters.
Assist with online reputation and brand protection, including fake profiles, impersonation, unauthorized content, defamation matters, and platform takedown requests.
Support legal needs for both the firm and portfolio companies.
Requirements
Law degree (LLB, JD, or equivalent).
2+ years of experience in corporate, startup, venture capital, private equity, or technology law.
Experience with investment documents, SPVs, fund documentation, or venture financing is preferred.
Strong drafting, research, communication, and organizational skills.
Fluent in English.
Ability to work collaboratively from our Bengaluru office.
