With a large portfolio of early-stage companies, we are building our Portfolio Management team to put our founders at the center of our universe and ensure our startups are optimally supported in their early-stage journey as they build their business

How you make an impact

You play an important role in supporting the database management requirements and data needs of Wavemaker internal teams, while getting a front-row seat to how a VC firm operates – from portfolio tracking to how investment teams use data to make decisions.

• You will diligently support the Portfolio Management Team in auditing our core relational databases across portfolio companies, entities, and ecosystem contacts – mapping where data points are sourced, surfacing redundancies, and coordinating with other teams to establish the process, platform, and timing behind their data.
• You will help build end-to-end systems for internal teams and external partners, from populating and structuring Airtable bases to designing user interfaces, setting up automations, and preparing databases for AI-powered use.
• You will also help clean, organize, and enrich existing CRM data so it can be used reliably downstream.
• You are numerically strong and have a knack for numbers.
• You're comfortable working with large data sets and drawing insights from analysis of data.
• You are curious about new tools and pick them up quickly.
• You consistently work in a meticulous manner and with a high degree of attention to detail.

• You're currently studying towards a Bachelor's or Master's degree. We're open to different fields of study!
• You have had at least 1-2 other internships

• You can switch easily between working meticulously with a high degree of attention to detail, and looking at the big picture and thinking strategically while being laser-focused on your task at hand, you have no problems juggling multiple balls at the same time.
• You are thoughtful, possessing strong analytical skills and critical thinking skills.
• You are extremely service-oriented and have the ability to build trust and forge long-term relationships with people of all backgrounds
• You are articulate and eloquent both in written and verbal communication
