Role Overview:
As a Venture Partner, you will play a pivotal leadership role in fundraising and scaling deep-tech ventures within our ecosystem. You will work closely with the Partners of Moringa Ventures and our network across Singapore, Asia, and global R&D institutions. Venture Partners bring domain expertise, strong operator experience, and/or fundraising track records that strengthen our ability to build world-class deep-tech companies.
This is a high-impact role suitable for experienced founders, industry leaders, or domain specialists seeking to shape the next generation of scientific innovation.
Key Responsibilities:
Fundraising
Raise capital for a new fund and also portfolio companies, leveraging your own network and track record.
Venture Building & Acceleration
Work hands-on with early-stage teams in our venture builder and Accelerator.
Support founders with product strategy, go-to-market planning, early customer validation, and fundraising preparation.
Strategic Partnerships & Ecosystem Development
Leverage your network to connect startups with industry partners, customers, regulators, and potential investors.
Strengthen partnerships with R&D institutions, technical labs, corporates, and government stakeholders.
What We’re Looking For:
You may fit this role if you have one or more of the following backgrounds:
Experience
Strong track record in fundraising.
Former founder or early team member of a deep-tech or technology startup.
Operator experience in product, engineering, R&D, commercialization, or venture creation.
Experience in venture capital, corporate innovation, or technology transfer (TTO/OTT).
Senior industry leader in sectors such as energy, advanced materials, AI, cybersecurity, health & biotech, space & communications, or robotics.
Skills & Traits
Strong networks across investors, academia, industry, and/or startup ecosystems.
Commercial intuition and comfort navigating ambiguity in early-stage environments.
Mission-driven: motivated to help scientists become founders and accelerate real-world impact.
