Responsibilities

  • International Offices (IO) Operational Resilience 
    • Provide rapid, independent “plug and play” finance support to IOs during turnover, absences, or contingency situations. Step in to stabilise BAU execution, maintain financial controls, and support local stakeholders until the office is fully resourced and operations normalise.
  • IO HQ Financial Oversight & Governance 
    • Support HQ oversight of Financial Management (FM) practices across the IO entities by identifying emerging risks, monitoring policy compliance, reviewing financial submissions, and coordinating governance follow-ups across audit, control matters. Ensure actions are tracked to closure and that reporting quality meets HQ requirements.
  • IO Knowledge Management & Capability Building 
    • Strengthen IO finance capability through onboarding support, training, and retraining of IO FM team members (e.g. Onboarding of IO FM, and/or outsourced IO outsourced accountants). Build and maintain documentation, playbooks, and knowledge repositories to reduce key person risk and improve effectiveness and retention.
  • Business Partnering (corporate) & Stakeholder Coordination 
    • Act as a coordination hub across IO Finance Managers, HQ Finance teams, and Corporate Department partners. Triage and resolve cross office finance and operations issues, align stakeholders on decisions, and synthesize IO insights for HQ planning and institutional initiatives.
  • Process Improvement & Digital Transformation 
    • Drive continuous improvement and standardisation of IO finance processes, including connecting with Group management entities month end refinement process. Promote adoption of digital tools and new Workday functionalities to enhance efficiency, control outcomes, and reporting quality.
  • Year-end Coordination Across SG and Non-SG Management Entities 
    • Coordinate and support year end close across Singapore and non-Singapore management entities. Align timelines, templates, and deliverables, track audit requests, and manage escalations to ensure timely and consistent close.

Requirements

  • Degree in Accountancy or similar accounting qualification
  • At least 5 years of relevant working experience
  • Strong ownership, attention to detail, and ability to coordinate across stakeholders
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under tight timelines
  • Willingness and ability for continuous learning
  • Knowledge of Workday system, Power BI, Analytics is advantageous

Educational and Professional Requirements  

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field
  • CPA and/or equivalent certificate preferred
