About Teja Ventures
Teja Ventures is a venture capital fund backing the next generation of consumer category leaders for the emerging middle class in Southeast Asia, investing in early-stage technology companies in the food, retail, health, and wellness sectors with supporting verticals in circular economy, creator economy and financial inclusion. We are currently looking for a Singapore-based Intern to support our operations, portfolio management, pipeline research, and investor relations activities.

Requirements
Positive, can-do attitude and ability to multitask, as well as capture all assigned work, prioritize, and re-prioritize, and meet or beat deadlines.
Strong analytical and writing skills, preferably with interest in startup, investments, and venture capital world.
Bachelor’s/Master’s degree from a top-tier institution or equivalent.
Fluency in Mandarin or a South-East Asian language is a plus.
Duties and Learning Opportunities
Pipeline Research: Using quantitative and qualitative research methods, the selected candidate will utilize on-line databases, the internet, industry association company lists, and our own proprietary database to conduct research on different industries to assess competitor and market intelligence, evaluate risks and opportunities regarding our current and potential investees.
Operations: Assist with administrative tasks such as scheduling meetings and taking meeting minutes, internal/external communications, and other ad-hoc projects upon request.
Portfolio Management: Conduct due diligence and optimize portfolio performance. Leverage financial acumen to analyze opportunities, manage relationships with portfolio companies, and contribute to fund growth.
Investor Relations: Facilitating communication between investors and the fund. Support fundraising efforts, manage CRM database, create and update decks, writing investor letters.
